As a Logistics Officer (AS) ammonium sulfate you take proactive ownership for delivering outstanding service and added value to our customers. You act as Fibrant’s representative towards customers, logistic service providers and internal stakeholders. In cooperation with your team members, 3 Logistics Officers and the AS Planner, you strive to delight customers with safe and timely delivery of our products conform agreed quality and quantity.

Do you recognize yourself in this profile, then you have the Fibrant DNA. At the moment we are looking for an enthusiastic Logistics Officer. In this role you communicate with our customers on a regular basis, to meet their needs and make mutual agreements. You are responsible for the execution of the ‘Order-to-Cash’ process, which ensures the intake and processing of sales orders for a reliable, efficient, and effective order fulfilment. Most important is that you organize the outbound transport shipments to customers for several products. You play an important role in monitoring the performance of logistics service providers, with a focus on cost and service. You will be part of an organization where continuous improvement is one of the pillars to stay competitive in the challenging market.
In this role you will report to the Manager AS Logistics and you will be located in the European headquarters in Urmond (The Netherlands), with the flexibility to work from home 1-2 days a week. Our production facilities are located in Geleen. You are the linking pin between different disciplines externally (customers and suppliers) and internally (Sales, Planning and Finance).
Your priorities
You are responsible for the daily contact and communication with our mainly French customers. You carry out the intake of the customer orders and the return orders. You think pro-actively for alternatives in case of change in customer priorities, product availability or transport availability.
You will also process the sales orders, deliveries, and shipments. You prepare and monitor the order portfolio by communicating with the loading departments and plan the departure dates, taking into account product availability and logistical possibilities (including external warehouse operations).
If needed you solve the delivery blocks according to procedures. You will also arrange the outbound transport (truck, barges, sea) for Sales, Purchase orders and Stock transfers for finished products.

- You have very good communication skills and are able to communicate on different levels
- You have good Dutch, French and English language skills, both verbally and in writing
