As a Supply Chain Planner at Fibrant, you take a forward-looking approach to planning. You actively generate ideas, evaluate multiple scenarios, and support informed decision-making across the organization. The role requires close collaboration with key stakeholders across Production, Procurement, Marketing & Sales, Supply Chain Management, and Logistics. Each function brings its own perspectives and priorities, and your challenge is to align these interests, both on a day-to-day basis and in the long term, into a shared, integrated supply chain planning vision. Strong stakeholder management, clear communication, and the ability to balance operational realities with strategic objectives are essential to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the sales forecasting process in close alignment with Marketing and Sales.
  • Develop and manage an optimal S&OP plan that balances demand, production, supply, procurement, sales, logistics and financial working capital.
  • Ensure that agreed proposals are actively implemented and followed up within operations.
  • Proactively identify deviations, take corrective action, and develop alternative S&OP scenarios, clearly outlining their impact on business performance.
  • Manage inventory levels and define target stock levels in line with agreed service levels and delivery strategies.
  • Establish feasible production and supply plans within the capacity constraints of internal and external production organizations and translate these into detailed short- and mid-term execution plans.
  • Support production continuity by planning critical raw material flows and proactively identifying potential supply risks in close cooperation with the Procurement team.
  • Define, monitor, and maintain relevant supply chain Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to support performance management and action taking.
  • Explore synergies with cross-site partners and provide actionable insights to support commercial decisions.
  • Initiate and lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost optimization, customer service, and compliance, and monitor their impact in line with company objectives.

Your Profile

  • 2–5 years of experience in supply chain planning, operations, or logistics.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and confidence in working with data, planning tools, and scenario building.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Solid knowledge of forecasting techniques and inventory management principles.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and hierarchical levels.
  • Politically sensitive, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch.
  • Proactive, structured and solution-oriented mindset.
  • You take ownership of your own development, demonstrate a genuine eagerness to learn every day, and have the ambition to grow into broader or more senior responsibilities over time.
